Wedding Photography?

Is it necessary to buy parents albums when arranging your wedding photography?

We are planning on having a great photographer at our wedding, but the only package that includes them is $8000, well over our $3000 photography budget.

They do however, offer an add on of “pocket” albums that will be smaller versions of our coffee table style album, and these come at a reasonable price.

Would these be a good idea, or would it be taky to get the smaller ones for them?

I personally, really like the smaller “pocket” albums and would like to have one myself in addition to my full size leather bound book.

Any ideas?

(And, getting a “cheaper” photographer is out of the question, I've been cutting corners with a few other aspects of the wedding, I will not budge on having a GREAT photographer capture the day)
